I had a nice little composition going incorporating metal and then I got to the sewing machine and started quilting and the fabric had a different idea. I started with a hand dyed piece of fabric in tones of violet and yellow. I layered it on painted batting and started free motion quilting and it took off from there. I rather like this piece and will save the metal for another week.
