I decided to change course a bit & do a set of consistently sized, square pieces keyed to the seasons. When I'm all finished, I'll see how they look together....meanwhile, I'm looking forward to practicing free-motion quilting and trying out some new techniques each week. I tried overlaying this "summer leaf" with greenish silk organza that's just a little irregular. Embroidery, quilting, beads...and here 'tis!
Who's piece is this? I really like it. The hand stitching and bead work are lovely and help the square format look more appealing.
